Other Seattle Activities

We both love Seattle and have each lived here for a little over three years now. We are so happy to call this place "home."

Here's a few summaries of more sights:

Seattle Center
The Seattle Center, originally constructed for the 1962 World's Fair is really at the center of it all. Make a day of it and explore all that Seattle Center has to offer – www.seattlecenter.com

Pike Place Market
The oldest, continuously operating, open-air market in the country, Pike Place is the soul of Seattle. The world famous Pike Place Market offers flying fish, crafts, flowers and the original Starbucks store right on the Puget Sound waterfront. Pike Place Market is open Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 11am-5pm; Down Under shops open Monday-Sunday 11am-5pm. Hiram M. Chittenden Locks
See the salmon climb the fish ladder, walk the botanical gardens, and watch boats go from fresh to salt water through these two navigational locks.

Alki beach
A drive across the West Seattle bridge takes you to a great spot for tanning and hanging out when the weather is warm and spectacular views all year round.

Snoqualmie Falls

Pioneer Square
The historic heart of Seattle where Klondike Gold Rush expeditions stocked up on their gear and the city got its start. Don’t miss the Underground Tour or world famous Elliott Bay Book Company.
